    Are there plans to:
    1. Create help in Help Library format for all products.
    2. Allow (at least as an option) a combined library of all Telerik products?

    Hi Stuart,

Can you elaborate more on what do you mean by Help Library format help? Is it the Help Viewer 1.0/MS Help3 format used in VS 2010?

If so, note that our ASP.NET AJAX controls do support it already, and the next on the pipeline are our XAML components. If you mean something else, please explain that in more detail.

Combined documentation library for all Telerik components is not in our plans yet, but we might consider it for a future version of the Telerik product stack.

Yes, I do mean the Help Library format.

I know that Radcontrols ASP.NET for AJAX use that, but they seem to be the only telerik product that does.

I'm trying to establish whether the plan is to bring all of the telerik products in to line and whether or not we can expect (as I hope we can) that they will be available as a Combined Collection rather than a disparate set of help collections.

    Hi Stuart,

    Thanks for clarifying.

Our Telerik MVC Extensions also support MS Help3 format for their documentation, although it is not automatically installed in VS 2010 as part of the automated installation process. We will consider that for implementation in a future version of the suite.

The WinForms and Reporting products also come with Help3 documentation. Doing this for OpenAccess ORM is in the ToDo, but with lower priority at the moment.

The JustCode, JustMock and JustTrace teams have also added this item to their respective ToDo lists, so expect it in the near future. The idea is to check whether there is Microsoft HelpViewer installed and install the Help documentation in the respective help format that is available.

    Best regards,

    Sebastian,

Thanks for the update. I look forward to seeing the new help for these products when it becomes available.
