Automation of Telerik using Selenium

While I cannot comment on Selenium's support for our RadControls, I can share that Telerik has an automated testing record / playback tool called Test Studio. Test Studio includes native support for Telerik's RadControls for ASP.net AJAX, Silverlight and WPF. In addition to the auto-detection of our controls, we also offer extended verifications to easily verify usually complex scenarios.

We have a 30 day trial of Test Studio you can download here. You can also download the free Testing Framework - both are great alternatives to Selenium and provide great support for Telerik's controls.

Thanks for your valuable post.

I just searched the best tool for web-based application and I found that Selenium is recommended most of the user. Any way I am looking for the best one which give good quality to my web-based project.

I just want to know if Selenium is allow to record Telerik component(Text boxes/ Combo box/buttons..ect), or it required any extra plug-in for this. cause right  now its record my step( Enter value in text box and submit the request) but when I run it then it got failed due to empty value.

Please help me in this, Is selenium support Telerik component?
