I cannot get thePrometheus window to show centered on the screen, if i use the same code (excluding the behvavious settings) then the "standard" window will start defaulted in the center of the screen as documented.

The Prometheus window does not seem to honour the offsetelementId setting either. So for now I have gone back the standard ASP.Net  Rad Window.

update: It turns out that this is caused by not having the doctype specified in the page hosting the window control. to get any positioning you need to have

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

on the page. But for me this is a no go as it destroys all the layout for the existing application.

Same problem here.  I also noticed that when the doctype is removed from that page (effectively switching out of XHTML mode), the skins don't look quite the same.  I would normally expect this, but using the non-promethius version does not have this issue.

For example, in the new default skin, all the buttons in the titlebar (move, close, etc) and not lined up properly, they appear much lower and not centered.

Not a big deal, but since this doesn't occur with the non-promethius version, I thought you may like to know.

Thanks,
Chris

Thank you for the feedback Chris,

Please excuse us for the temporary inconvenience - we will do our best to have this problem fixed for SP1 which will appear in 2 weeks.

Hi,

Does anyone know if these issues are addressed with SP1?  If not, I'll do the upgrade and test it out.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Have a look at this thread:

To answer your question, no the SP1 did not fix the centering issues, in my case.

Shaun.
