I'm trying to add Kendo widgets to an ASP.NET Core 6 project that uses an MVC template.  Which NuGet package do I need?  The one for ASP.NET MVC or the one for ASP.NET Core?

I apologize if this is question has an obvious answer, I've been developing in .NET for < 1 year and was not able to figure this out via searching.

I'm also struggling to know which version of the package I need.  If I do need the ASP.NET Core package, then should I use the most current stable release? That looks like it installs a large number of .NET 7.0 dependencies I don't need.

Hello,

If you use ASP.NET Core you need the NuGet package for Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core. Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC is the name of the product that provides server-side wrappers for .NET Framework.

Support for .NET 7 was introduced with our 2022.3.1109 release. If you'd like to use a version that support .NET 6 and earlier I recommend installing any previous version.

That being said please be aware that with our updates in addition with support for latest .NET releases we also introduce bug fixes, improvements and new Components that can be seen in our online Demos.

We are here to help. Please do not worry to ask any additional questions should they occur.
