Hello,

In the DayView, there is a red line when there is an task.
Here I have 4 questions:

1)  I want to know what's the use of the red line?
2)  And why the task is so small in such a small column in the right??   It's very difficult for old man to click on such a small event by mouse!
See the WeekView, if you have series events, it will crowd together, and can't be seen and chosen at all!
3)  What's the big white space on the left for?
4)  Why not place the the event on the big white space on the left?

Please see the Image attached, I point the 4 questions' place on the image.

yours,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

The red line marks the current time when today's date is displayed inside the Scheduler's day view or week view. Its display depends on the Scheduler configuration.

http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/api/javascript/ui/scheduler#configuration-currentTimeMarker

The layout issues, which you are observing, should not occur. You can check our online demos to see how the Scheduler should look like:

http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/scheduler/index

In your application, please make sure that there are no custom CSS styles, which break the Scheduler layout, and also verify that the jQuery version is compatible with the Kendo UI version.

http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/install/prerequisites#jquery

If the problem persists, please provide a runnable example or a live URL for inspection.

thank you Dimo.

But just on your online demo, my second problem is sitll there.
Please check this: http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/scheduler/index

And see my cut image.
The right column space is very small, and can't show the events's text, even can't show the column title text itself!
And the left column space is very wide, but empty. I don't know what will be showed in the left column, or just nothing??

Difficult to understand what's the design purpose.

yours,
Ivan

Hello Ivan,

Please check the attached screenshot how the Scheduler looks like in all browsers. We have not received any other reports from other people about the same problem with our demo site. What browser and version are you using? Does the problem exist in all browsers that you have?

Hi Dimo,
Thank you for your reply.

I have checked your attach screenshot image, it looks like very well. If the online demo is like this, I have no problem any more.
But in my browser,it don't look like this.  Please check my attach screenshot image above. I checked the browser and get the result below:

1)  IE8 is OK.
2) Chrome is OK
3) Firefox is OK
4) 360 browser is NOT OK.

In fact, only in the 360 browser has such a problem.
360 browser has over 50% market share in China, is the most people used browser in China.
360 company is a listed company in the NYSE, stock code is “NYSE:QIHU”.
Here is their offical web site to down load the 360 browser: http://se.360.cn/

May be I need to report the bug to them?

yours,
Ivan

Hello Ivan,

Unfortunately, the 360 browser is not among the ones that we support. In any case, I tried downloading an up-to-date version and the Scheduler works as expected (see the screenshot).

http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/browsers-support

Let us know if you have any other questions related to supported browsers.
