I would like to use the telerik ListBox implementation because it seems to support data binding for the SelectedItems property. The Listbox shows fine when defining a template, but I am unable to get user interaction to work (selecting/deselectiong items). Is there a way to get this to work?

Hi Rick,

The ListBox control in the Telerik.Windows.Controls.dll was intended only for internal use in RadScheduler. It is not supported and it might change (or even disappear) without notification.

Hi

Can you explain why you have duplicate controls – (I have seen others) - surely it adds to the size of the dll’s.

Hello Flemming,

I cannot say about the other controls, but this ListBox was added a couple of years ago while we were porting RadScheduler for WPF to Silverlight. Since the Silverlight ListBox has certain limitations, we created a dummy control and inherited it in RadScheduler. This ListBox was never intended for public use, hence it does not have control template and is not documented.

I can check about the other duplicate controls that you mentioned if you list them here.

So it sounds like the ListBox sould be declared as internal, isn't it? unless some binding constraints prevents it.

It actually burnt me half a day's work because I made changes in many classes before realizing that it's not functioning at all...

Hello,

This is thread is old. We have now (since Q1 2012) official RadListBox.

Oh, thanks!

But still, I do have the Q1 2012 version installed and the simplest program containing a ListBox has it not responding to my mouse clicks. Maybe it's because I'm still using the Silverlight 4 suite?

Hi Rick,

RadListBox should work in Silverlight 4 project without a problem. I've attached a simple project, could you please download it and give it a try?

All the best,
