USB Connection to Mobile device

Hello,

 

I'm having a bit of trouble connecting my mobile device to TestStudio for testing via USB.  I can get the machine to read that the device is connected but I'm afraid I'm not able to find the port number of the device hooked up via USB.  I'm stuck at this point, I've tried every port number  that I could possibly think of... perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place for a port number reference.  Any help would be appreciated. 

 

(Device is a Samsung mobile phone)

Hello Chad,

When connecting device to Test Studio using USB connection you have to verify that the port number set in the USB configuration dialog is the same that is set on the devise's Mobile Testing app.

At the mobile device - set a number of a free port - for example 8082 or 8085 (note that 8083 and 8084 by default are used by the Test Studio). Then set the same port in the USB configuration window in Test Studio and try to connect the device.
