How do you turn off/disable the new "Enhanced ToolTip"? I'd like to continue to use the RadToolTipManager instead. Thanks.

Hello Hunter,

Currently the Enhanced tooltip is automatically enabled when you set the ToolTip property of an item. To disable it, just leave this property empty.

I am loading my ribbon based on an xml file which contains no tooltip attribute. After the ribbon is loaded I add each ribbon item into a tooltip manager (tooltipmanager.targetcontrols.add). When I hover over a ribbon item I get both tooltips (my original and the new Enhanced ToolTip). Am I to understand that this approach is no longer valid?

Hello Hunter,

Could you open a support ticket and attach a sample project demonstrating your scenario, so that I can investigate the issue locally and give you a more specific answer.

Kind regards,

Thanks for the reply. I decided to upgrade to the new Enhanced ToolTip in my project so this is no longer an issue. However I did want to mention that while I was upgrading my project I noticed that ribbon items which had no tooltip attribute defined in XML were displaying a standard tooltip when hovered (containing the hovered item's text value). With the tooltipmanager still on the page I would then see this standard tooltip display as an enhanced tooltip. This is just an FYI as, again, I've upgraded and no longer need to work around the new feature (which works great btw). Thank you again for your support.
