using the q2 version, I placed a "subgurim.net" google map control inside of the tooltip...

click location, and then enter a zipcode, and submit...

then choose a location closest to you...

the little compass icon in the header bar... hover over that to get the google maps api tooltip...

the issue is that it doesnt load all the squares of the map.. and i know this control has no issues without the wrapper of the tooltip... (http://rosemurgyproperties.com/retail (just select a property and you will see the same googlemap api control without the tooltip wrapper.. it works perfectly. (I used the same code to instantiate it)

http://giovanniscoalfirepizza.com

any suggestions?

thanks!

It seems to work the on the first page... but if you click another item on the menu.. without fail, the right half of the map's squares refuse to load..

this happens every time i load the site up...

please advise.

Hello sircutbreaker,

I visited both of the sites listed - http://giovanniscoalfirepizza.com and http://rosemurgyproperties.com/retail

I tried to follow your guidelines (on the pizza site):
click location, and then enter a zipcode, and submit...
then choose a location closest to you.

However, I was not able to notice any
little compass icon in the header bar (as you specify)

Whatever I did, in neither of the sites I was able to bring up a RadToolTip that would show a google map.
Can you please provide us with more precise details?
Also, I would suggest opening a support ticket (where you can upload files) and sending us some screenshots or other resources that you might deem useful. This will help us get to the core of the problem much faster.

Sincerely yours,

I had removed it... sry.. please try again...

http://giovanniscoalfirepizza.com

hover over the little compass in the header of the page and you will see the google maps api control come up..

(hey maybe you should have a telerik google maps api control.. but... anyway)

the map comes up, but its a little banged up.. it doesn't display correctly.

and like I previously stated, it DOES when its not wrapped in the tooltip...

Hello sircutbreaker,

I examined the provided live url and I was able to reproduce the problem - only the zoom in and zoom out buttons on the map work and the arrows do not. I also noticed that you have downloaded the control from www.subgurim.net but this site is not available and working at the moment.

You have used a combination of third-party controls and in such cases various problems can occur and while I am not able to examine the code locally I cannot tell what causes the problem. I assume that the problem is not in the RadToolTip control but it comes from the fact that the map is absolutely positioned and most probably it does not work in an absolute positioned parent.

That is why I suggest to test this assumption by putting the map in a standard DIV element which has its position set to absolute. In case this test scenario does not work, the problem is in the map control. In case the map in the above scenario works fine but when put in a RadToolTip it does not, please prepare a sample, fully runnable reproduction project which contains the map component, open a new support ticket and send it to me along with your explanation. Once I receive it, I will do my best to help.

Best wishes,
