Hello,
Is it possible to suppress a section so that datasources bound only to element(s) inside the section will not be loaded? Crystal Reports has this feature and it is very handy for debugging reports with datasources that take some time to load.

Hi Magnus,
Suppressing/hiding report items will not prevent the reporting engine from processing those items. Those items still will be proccessed in order for other features of the report, such as Actions, to be working correctly. If a report item is a Data Item it will still retrieve data from its data source.
Thus, you may consider to add server side filtering - Filtering Data/"Server side" filtering.
