On your demo site, there is a section to change the foreground on the shapes (see attached).  When you select a color, it changes the foregound, however, foreground is never saved.  I've read your articles about implicit styles.  If the intention is to set the foregounds implicitly on each shape, why have a foreground section?  Also, itallics is never saved on a shape either.  So, it's changed when you select it, but it does not get saved into the XML, therefore doesn't get loaded again with the text italicized.  We have this control on our production environment and if properties are going to continue to be changed all of our existing diagrams are going to be broken and we simply cannot have this.  Let me know.

Thanks,
Derek

Hello Derek,

I apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, we have an issue with deserializing of brush properties. Your issue would be the same as the one in the link, if the brush is saved but not loaded. If the brush proeprty is not saved at all, then this is something different. Please note, that we are only saving locally set properties.
Those properties, which have their values coming from a style's setter etc. will not be saved (because they will be reapplied when the style is applied). Our ultimate goal is to provide you with a serialization mechanism that will be cross-platform and cross-version compatible.

Kind regards,
