"Select" event doesn't fire when using keyboard

If you use your mouse to select an item, the "select" event fires.  If you use your keyboard, it does not fire.  Is there a workaround for this?

Thank you for drawing our attention to this issue. It was addressed and the fix will be available in the next internal build due the mid of this week. I updated your Telerik points because of the finding.
