The sample code shown for the tileview does not make sense or work as this refers to RadTreeviewItems and a metadataoptions object that does not exist. http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#PersistenceFramework/TileViewConfigurator

    This needs to be updated.

    Hi Greg Duffield,

The TreeViewItems, that are being used refer to the options that you see in the configuration panel on the left of the TileView control, below the ComboBoxes. They let you choose which properties to be saved (TileState, ColumnsCount, etc.). By default, they are all checked, so all of them are being used in the serialization process. The metadataOptions object in the parent TreeView of these TreeViewItems. The serialization options are dynamically created based on the state of these options.

Leaving all checked or all unchecked will bring the same results. When they are all checked - all properties are saved. When they are all unchecked - then no filtering is applied and again, all properties are saved, as none are excluded (by default, the persistence framework saves everything allowed).

Checking only some of the options will be enough to save some of the properties.

    All the best,
