I just started using Telerik Reporting and created my first simple report. When I view the report in the Preview pane then it all aligns correctly. However, when I preview in the Html Preview pane then some of the header/detail fields do not align correctly. The detail field is the same as the first Preview pane, but the header items (last two out of four) appear much to the right of the detail field below. How do I make these align in Html mode?

Thanks

Never mind, I finally found the answer.

BTW: It is so hard to search these forums. There needs to be a way to just search on forum and not all forums!

Hi Jerry,

It is great that you have managed to find a solution by yourself.

As to the Forums, there is an Advanced Search tab which lets you select the Forum you are interested in.

Hi guys,

As you probably know, Telerik Reporting supports various export formats, and each format goes with its limitations and peculiarities. That is why we have a help section called Design Considerations for Report Rendering which described how each of the formats work. We highly recommend that you go through this chapter and in general through the "Designing Reports" section which holds the inner works of the product.
Please make sure that you create the items so that they do not touch other items, section ends, etc., because the processing engine might produce unexpected results. Always leave a little space (a couple of pixels/points) around report items/sections to prevent unexpected behavior.

All the best,
Steve
