Report - Word Document broken format problem

I have a report created in the report server, I exported the report as Word Document, the content inside is too broken while when I exported the file as PowerPoint Presentation, it looks good and looks the same as the original. Is this a bug? or is there something that I need to consider when exporting a Word Document? Or Do I need to upgrade the version?

Hi,

Indeed, each rendering format has its own set of specifics one needs to consider when exporting to it. The Word Rendering Design Considerations article describes the known conditions that may cause unexpected behavior.

Based on the screenshots, it is difficult to tell what the source of the issue is but the following are possible explanations.

• The report contains overlapping and/or misaligned items.
• There are many items items inside the report.
• The pagination applied by Word does not work well with the page settings of the report.

Still, if the suggestions from the article I linked do not help, you can attach your report definition to the thread and I will take a look at it for you.
