Rename a file while uploading?

Didn't see this discussed in the other posts.  If we wanted to allow a user to upload a file but append a unique identifying code to the filename prior to uploading, is there a way to do this?

Thank you for your interest in the RadUpload control.

In general there are two ways to uploading file with a different name:

• Fist is to change the name at client side.
  Please preview the How to upload a file with a different name article. There is a working example too.
• The second approach is to change the name at server side.
  Please follow the Saving files with unique name on the server using RadUploadHandler article, there you will find an example project too.
