If you place maps into TileViewItems (and other similar controls, like a Tab control) and then add custom objects to the map - in this case I am using custom point symbols bound through an ObservableCollection - the custom objects disappear when the map changes content state and back.

I've attached the map as 'Large Content' only, with some text blocks as place holders in Content and SmallContent. If I cause the map to minimize and then restore, the map is still there but my custom objects aren't shown. They're still in the observable collection though.

How can you 'refresh' map layers (InformationLayer) to bring content back?

Hi David Brubacher,

Unfortunately we can't reproduce the problem without your code.
Could you, please, create sample small solution which demonstrates the problem and send it to us?
