ReadOnly GridView, Select part of a cell's data and copy it to clipboard

Hi,

as the title dictates, I want to have a readonly gridview, and still be able to select only a part of one cell's data and press Ctrl-C to copy that selection to clipboard.

Is that possible? How?

PS : I still don't understand why we need to talk about stuff  like that in 2012!!!! i mean people we are talking standard clipboard support here.....or am i loosing something here????
