Hello,

In my website the radupload button doesn't work in IE 6 and IE 7.
In IE 8, firefox, google chrome, etc.. is it working perfectly.

Can this be a security setting in IE 6 or IE 7 or is it something else?

Thanks in advance.

Greetz,
Joris

Hello guys,

Could you please specify the version of the controls that is in question? There should be no problems when using the latest version. If you use older version of the controls please upgrade to the latest. Alternatively you can set the EnableFileInputSkinning property of RadUpload to false.

I'm experiencing the problem also in Internet Explorer 8.
Setting the EnableFileInputSkinning to false resolves this for now...

I'm using the latest version (2010.2 713).

Did you ever get an answer for this because I am having the same problem using v.2010.3.1317.40

The RadUpload works for Chrome, Firefox, Safair, but IE 6,7, and 8 do not work at all.

Hello Stijn,

We managed to reproduce this issue in IE8 Standards mode. We will investigate it more and it was noted for fixing for the next release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX next month.

Try setting the Input Size Attribute on the RadUpload to 150px and see if that fixes your problem. This defines the width of the RadUpload hidden input type select element and the visible input type text width.  It is set to 0 as default, however IE doesn't support setting their size to 0 and issues a JS error.

Hi guys,

It turned out that the issue is a hard to reproduce, at least in our local environment. For that matter, could you please open a support ticket and send us a sample project or/and live URL where the issue is reproduced. This will allow us to troubleshoot the problem and provide you with a solution as soon as possible.

Hello,

for me the solution works , I haven't tested it but my supervisor said it works now on our sharepoint site.
What I did was change the property value. it had a value of 23 , don't ask me why , maybe default?
Then I changed it to 150 like you suggested, but that 150 didn't look like 150pixels to me, more like 25cm.
So i changed it to value 50, we deployed it again and I was told it works now..

thanks alot!
