Hello Hans,
The style for the HorizontalContentAlignment property of the ​RadCalculatorPicker is set to Stretch. You can either Edit the Control Template, customize the TextBox element of the RadCalculatorPicker on its Loaded event or create an attached property using the same Loaded event approach.
Attached, you can find a sample project in which I've demonstrated the attached behavior approach. Please, review it and let me know if it delivered the desired result.

Hi Dimitar,
thanks for the sample project.
Too bad the alignment is set to Stretch by default as numbers are always right aligned (as far as I know).
