Problem with clientside databinding and dates

Hi,
When binding the grid, it disregards the dateformat we've set. Is there anything we can do about this?

The date format should be applied as expected when using client-side binding for your grid. See the following online demos in support of this statement:

Hi,
Sorry for the late response. I've seen these examples, but I just can't understand why it's not working at our end... First I suspected that it was because we sent it back as string, but when changed to date we just get /Date(1240228164077)/.
