the org chart has mostly everything i need except for one. i have a special requirement to overlay nodes or to be specific one individuals node on top of another individual's node, we require this for showing our coverage feature.
can this be don't with the org chart and if so any sample code at all?

Hello,
You could place a single node on top of its subnodes by using some css class selectors and by setting the needed css class. Please take a look at the attached project to get a better understanding how this can be achieved.

Kate, thanks for the demo file. I did view it from Visual Studio and while the parent node can be overlaid on the child nodes, the functionality we require is a node that altogether does not belong to that tree should be placed over any arbitrary node we want.
