Hi,
Is it possible to only display the grid of a spreadsheet?
I need spreadsheet functionality (e.g. formulas) but the user interface doesn't require the ribbon or the possibility to have several worksheets. In addition it will be read only (although it would be nice to have some of the cells editable, and I am hoping you will add this feature soon).

Thanks for your help.
RD

Hi RD,

Thank you for writing.

Getting straight to the questions at hand:

1. The RadSpreadsheet control includes the cell grid and the worksheet selector. The rest of the UI components (RibbonView, Formula Bar and Status Bar) can be added on demand. The Visual Structure article in our online documentation describes in details each of these parts.
2. Currently, you can disable the new sheet button in the sheet selector, so that the user cannot add new worksheets.
3. At the moment, you can remove the CellInputUILayer from the visual layers of the spreadsheet, however, this will make all cells in the worksheet read-only. We will do our best to add the option for choosing which cells to be not editable in the next major release.

I hope you find my answer helpful. If you have other questions or need any assistance, please write back. I will do my best to assist you.

Regards,
