Can someone point me to a sample report that uses two Y axis?

I am trying to follow the instructions in the documentation
http://www.telerik.com/help/reporting/graphhowtoaddsecondaryaxis.html
but I keep getting an "object cannot be null" error from the CoordinateSystems dialog at step 2

Thank you for your help.

Hello Patrick,

Please check the following video, going through the process of adding a secondary axis.
There shouldn't be a point where you get the null reference error.
If you follow the same process and still get the error, please send us a sample video step by step and the incorrect report definition, so we can inspect it locally.

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q2 2013? You can get them from your account.

Hi Marcelo,

The secondary axis can appear on the right or top of the graph. This is controlled by defining where the secondary axis crosses the shared axis. For the example below assume that X is the shared axis and there are two Y axes.

  1. For the Scale of the shared X axis you have to add two CrossAxisPositions.
  2. The first will be applied to the first Y axis - leave the position to Auto (the default).
  3. For the second one (applied to the second Y axis) - set the position to AtMaximum. This will force it to cross the X axis at its maximum value which should be on the right end of the axis scale.

If you watch the video from my previous post again, at the end you will see how it is done in the designer.
