This event is handled by the RadPanelBar`s Click events. If , however, you wish to use the MouseLeftButtonDown event , you have to wire it with the UIElement.AddHandler method which supports wiring of handled events. You can find the described approach in the attached solution. Hope it will fit in your scenario.
