Hi,

simple questions...

1) are there any limitations on the sand chart on number of layers it can have?
2) Can we have a context menu on the bar chart or sand chart menu?
3) On the sand chart, can we have a drill down chart on mouse hover?
4) can sub charts (on mouse hover to chart series) have drilldown?

Thanks,

Hello suman,

I'm assuming that by sand chart you mean our Stacked Area Chart - http://demos.telerik.com/wpf/#Chart/Gallery/StackedArea.
1) There are no limitations on the number of Series (layers) it can have. Just a tip - the more series you add the more slower the performance will be.
2) You can integrate RadChart and RadContextMenu to achieve this as shown in our help topic - http://www.telerik.com/help/wpf/radchart-howto-integration-radcontextmenu-wpf.html
3) You can review this help topic - as it will show you the drill down capabilities of the chart with tooltips enabled.
4) As there is no way to show tooltip in tooltip you can have hierarchical drill-down chart and step through each level of the hierarchy on mouse click. This is described in our help topic - http://www.telerik.com/help/wpf/radchart-features-drill-down-hierarchical-view.html.
