Do you have the popular "label as" feature (where we can assign different labels to choose from...like personal, business, etc.), OR the "show time as" feature (where we can assign different statuses/colors to choose from...like busy, vacation, out-of-office, etc.) ?

The DevExpress scheduler has both of these...do you?

Hello Curt,

Both of these features can be implemented using the scheduler resources (in some cases in combination with "eventTemplate", "allDayEventTemplate" options). For more information on the matter you can check the following related documentation:

That's too bad.  It's very unfortunate that you didn't make simple label/status (or category and status) properties on the event itself, without a need to involve hi-jacking the resource.  This is definitely odd, since label/status on the appointment itself has become "standard" since Outlook did it many years ago.

DevExpress would have the advantage here.

Thanks anyway.

Hello Curt,

I'm little confused to you last answer as defining resource for the labels is fast and easy task (as seen in the following example). Did you try the suggestions from my previous reply and what difficulties did you hit while implementing them?
