Hi,
We downloaded your last build 'kendoui.web.2012.1.322.commercial'. But we couldn't find the 'kendo.all.min.js' in the JS directory. Any chance of getting the all minified of the latest JS?

Thanks.

Hi,

kendo.all.min.js is available only in the Kendo Complete package. In Kendo Web you can use kendo.web.min.js. We have updated our documentation to reflect this change.

I wasn't overly happy about this either.  Being a Premium (and not Ultimate) Telerik customer, suddenly I only have a trial version of KendoUI Complete (without source) or a KendoUI Web version that has kendo.web.min.js.

I have to say as much I really do like Telerik, their products, and specifically their early Kendo showing, the pricing model and different packaging of products has been a little confusing -- I get this for free, now I don't, or was it a preview before, etc, etc?  I do understand the need to have a kendo.web.js vs. kendo.all.js though but it wasn't overly clear who gets what and when.

Hopefully this is taken as friendly feedback and not judged too harshly :)

Even with my ultimate subscription i don't see a download link for kendoui.complete.2012.1.322.commercial

instead i have 3 separate downloads ONLY:
  • kendoui.web.2012.1.322.commercial
  • kendoui.dataviz.2012.1.322.commercial
  • kendoui.mobile.2012.1.322.commercial

In the past i have downloaded: kendoui.web-dataviz.2011.3.1407.commercial.zip and this file has had all.js

Hi,

Clint, your feedback has been forwarded to management. However, I can see that you have already upgraded to the Ultimate Collection, which is our most value-added proposition. Please note that this gives you a whole new year of subscription (free version updates and Priority Level Support) for all the included product lines, including Kendo UI Complete.

Chad, since it is not possible to include bundle in a bundle, we cannot provide Kendo UI Complete as a single download when it's shipped with the Ultimate Collection. You'll need to download the three Kendo packages (Web, DataViz and Mobile) one by one.

I hope this clears things up. Let me know if I can be of any additional assistance.

PSA,

make sure you include the dataviz.js first, then web.js

http://cdn.kendostatic.com/2012.1.322/js/kendo.dataviz.min.js
http://cdn.kendostatic.com/2012.1.322/js/kendo.web.min.js

grid selectors were blowing up on me when it was the other way around!
bad: http://jsfiddle.net/ebHkr/8/
good: http://jsfiddle.net/korchev/ebHkr/9/

EDIT: this is not recommended as the core lib is included twice, you should use the custom downloader

Nothing gets us more excited than hearing a story about the Next Big Thing being built on Kendo UI. Or, talking to a developer who wants us to implement a feature for the next release. We love it.

I came here to ask the same question. Why would I have to buy additional software to get hold of kendo.all.min.js? As far as I can see it includes no additional functionality. Come on, give us a js file with all the web components as standard!

Hello John,

According to our records you are licensed user of the Telerik Premium Collection which grants you a Kendo UI Complete license. The latter contains kendo.all.min.js.

Hi Atanas,

if what you said stands for all Premium subscribers, then I am not looking at the right place or Telerik download area isn't functioning. In download area I see only "Kendo UI Web" download.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I have mislead you. At present Telerik Premium subscribers are granted access to Kendo UI Web and Kendo UI DataViz. This is the reason you cannot download Kendo UI Complete (which includes Kendo UI Mobile). We are currently thinking of changing this so access to Kendo UI Complete is granted to all Premium collection subscribers.

For now my advise is to use the custom download builder tool and create a single file suited to your needs.

Atanas,

Any update on this? I am also a premium subscriber, and would like the full package. It does seem a bit harsh that having paid all the money for the subscription, we don't get the full package.

Please can you provide an update. Thanks

Hi guys,

With the Kendo UI Q2'12 release, due tomorrow, all Telerik Premium Collection subscribers with active commercial license will receive the entire Kendo UI package (Web + DataViz + Mobile + ASP.NET MVC server wrappers) free of charge.

Stay tuned for the formal announcement tomorrow, you should be notified via email about this change.

Kind regards,
Sebastian

Excellent! Thanks very much for that.

What about the ASP.NET MVC helper extensions for KendoUI? I've seen them mentioned in a few places, including in your documentation (http://www.kendoui.com/documentation/asp-net-mvc/introduction.aspx), but can't find where to download them. I'm developing an MVC site, and had just started using the Telerik MVC controls when I read that they are to be superseded by KendoUI, and the extensions. I don't want to waste my time on something that's going out, and want to switch to Kendo as fast as I can, but without the MVC helpers, it's going to be slower.

Please can you explain where I can find these.

Thanks again.
