Javascript hangs IE 7

Hi,

We have a situation that can be reproduced all time where the web browser seems to hang. I think it's some javascript from Telerik that calculates client heights that is responsible for it. This is our scenario;

We have a user control with a RadComboBox that gets loaded with OnItemsRequested. This user control is used on multiple places on our webplace, and works as excepted. On one of our pages we are using a modal popup window that contains several of theese user control. When we are going to search on one (and only one) of theese control, the app freezes. The other controls are working as expected (and there are controls both above and under the problem control). If we make the modal window bigger the problem goes away! - But really, we dont want to have a window with a lof of empty space.

I suggest that you set the Height property of RadComboBox and let us known how this goes.

Hello.

I have the same issue with ComboBox but i can't set the height of dropdown, because i have the dynamic number of items and the height of items in the dropdown can be set in the pluggable css. So is there another solution for this issue?

This issue has been resolved in Telerik.Web.UI Q1 2009 (version 2009.1.311).

Please download a more recent version and upgrade.

i have the 2009.1.402.35 version installed, but i still experience the same problems

Hello Lambros,

Could you describe the configuration in which the issue occurs?

Is the ComboBox in a modal window? If so, have you set Height of the ComboBox? Is the window high enough to accommodate the ComboBox and its opened drop down?
