I have a RadComboBox that is bound to a user-defined set of items.  In some cases, the number of items that can be loaded exceeds 1000 items and I have found that when I click on the arrow to drop down the RadComboBox, it takes a very long time to load and consumes a large amount of memory.  Is there any way to virtualize the RadComboBox in this case?

Hi Thomas
I think you can see this: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/silverlight/combobox/how-to-set-max-dropdown-width.aspx
But I've saw Telerik team not recommend for ItemsSource exceed 1000 items.
You can try this for comparing.

Regards.

Konstantina,

That was EXACTLY what I was looking for.  I vaguely recalled having read that somewhere in the past in your docs, but couldn't find it right away.  Thanks for the help!
