How do I handle licensing of RADControls-Ajax on our build server? Since licensing is per-seat, does the build server need a license?

Thank you for your inquiry.
Our licensing policy for the ASP.NET controls is focused on the developer and each license allows only one person to work with the software in design-time (in Visual Studio or other development environment). Our licenses are royalty-free and have no deployment limitations - they allow the use of our controls in numerous projects, spanning various servers and domains, the only requirement being that only the licensed developers work with the controls.

So, just to clarify, are you saying that as long as it's the developers that hold a Telerik license that are accessing the build server then there's no further licensing requirements?

Yes, as long as only licensed developers are working with the design-time products, you may install our software on as many machines as needed.
