I have a problem with the Report Viewer. I installed Reporting Q3 2010 and the project I imported Telerik.ReportViewer.WinForms, but in my toolbox is not displayed is the component (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/560/telerikreport.jpg/).

What should I do to my Report Viewer appears, as shown at this link: http://www.telerik.com/help/reporting/winforms-report-viewer-embedding.html

Thanks for your help:)

Hi Huremagic,

Most probably you have not installed SP1 of  VS2008. Please uninstall Telerik Reporting, install VS2008 SP1 and try the Telerik Reporting installation again.

All the best,

I work in the "VS 2010 Ultimate." First I installed the Telerik WinForms, and then I installed Telerik Reporting.
Not installed the trial version Telerik, because they have a license for the "Ultimate Collection for. NET"

At this link (http://www.telerik.com/help/reporting/installation-deploying-on-windows-forms.html) says that I imported some references (Telerik.Reporting.XpsRendering.dll, Telerik.Reporting. OpenXmlRendering . dll), but I did not get the refence when I installed Telerik Reporting. I have only those in Fig.

Hello Huremagic,

The online documentation is always for the latest official release. You're using an older version of Telerik Reporting where does assemblies do not exist and you should use the documentation embeded in Visual Studio or download the chm file for this version.

As for the original problem, close all Visual Studio instances but one and choose Reset Toolbox from the context menu of Visual Studio Toolbox. If this does not help, please run Telerik Reporting installer from command prompt with logging information enabled:

msiexec /i path_to\Telerik_Reporting_QX_2011_DEV.msi -l*xv install.log

and attach the log file to a support ticket with information about your problem.

Regards,
Steve

I had purchased and installed Reporting R3 2016 and using visual studio 2013 and I can acces the report designer out of the VS but whenever I want to create the report inside the visual studio,

there is no  Telerik Report Viewer Form  when choose adding a new item in my windows application

and also no Telerik reporting component in toolbox as well

under Telerik menu=>Reporting=> it shows only upgrade wizard option

Hi Vahid,

There is Telerik Reporting R3 2016 Beta1, which is not an official release, but contains features we consider providing in September.

Please test installing the product by using the MSI file - Installing Telerik Reporting. Then test creating a new ClassLibrary and reports in Visual Studio - Quickstart. In case you have old projects with Telerik Reports, run the Upgrade Wizard which will allow you to open reports in the VS Report Designer - Upgrading Telerik Reporting Projects.

In case there are no Toolbo items when the report is loaded by the VS Report Designer, please test the suggestions in Telerik Reporting Toolbox items are missing.

Regards,
Stef

Hello Vahid,

Please open a support ticket and send us the following details:
  1. Installed Visual Studio editions - Telerik Reporting System Requirements;
  2. A log file generated on installing Telerik Reporting by following the steps from Instillation problems;
  3. A video illustrating how the problem is reproduced on your machine
