When nodes are expanded/collapsed many times, the treeview seems to slow down dramatically.

I've tried this on two computers now and in a both a Chrome-based browser (Rockmelt) and IE9 beta using Silverlight 4 on Windows 7 x64.  I verified that the issue can be reproduced using your online Silverlight RadTreeView "First Look" sample if you sit there for a couple of minutes and repeatedly expand/collapse one of the nodes (I used the root item).  After some time, as you hover your mouse over the treeview items, the highlighting and item selection begins to slow down more and more.

Edit: Disabling animations doesn't seem to make a difference either.

Cyle

Hello Cyle,

I beleive what you are saying is right but I couldn't simulate the issue with this demo: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#TreeView/FirstLook

Can you please describe the steps in more detail: how much time one should keep clicking on the expander (2-3-4 minutes); should the opposite operation wait for the animation to complete.

Finally it would be great if you provide us a simple screen cast demonstrating the issue.

Best wishes,
