Hello,
The gantt widget doesn't provide any automatic calculation of dependant tasks, since we don't constrict the type and number of dependencies that you can set. Thus it's possible to create cycles in the gantt, which are impossible to calculate and manage.
The gantt only calculates the dates of parent and child tasks, since by definition the parent (summary) tasks always reflects the start and end dates of its children.
