Hi Mahendra Kumar,

With Telerik Testing Framework you are acting directly on the DOM/Visual tree. This means that it supports all HTML and Silverlight based applications. This is what the majority of all web applications are based. So yes, the Telerik.Web.Mvc controls are fully supported.

Are you experiencing some sort of trouble when trying to automate against Telerik MVC controls? If yes, please provide as much info as possible.

Hi Plamen,

I am using 2011.2.1117.0 for Telerik.WebAii.Controls.Html and ArtOfTest.WebAii . As I have experienced ,telerik rad controls are supported and the framework contains classes for rad controls like RadComboBox , RadCalendar ,  RadEditor etc..
Like the same does this framework suporrt MVC contorls like datepicker/mvc grid etc..
I could not find any classes for those controls...

Is there are latest version of framework that support the mvc contorls? Please let me know.

Regards,
Mahendra

Hi Mahendra,

There are no wrappers specifically created for our MVC controls. Our current effort is focused on creating wrappers and translators for the KendoUI framework which is increasingly gaining popularity.

Note that you can still use our framework to automate the sites which are using the MVC suite - the only inconvenience is that there is no control specific api as with the components for which we've created wrappers.

All the best,
Pavel

Hi,

yes I know that and that is how I have been dealing with MVC controls. Had to design the framework a lot to work the MVC controls.. but it would be good if wrapper classes are built around MVC also.

Let me know if you have any plans to implement those wrapper classes for Telerik Testing Framework.

Regards,
Mahendra

Hello Mahendra Kumar,

I understand your situation and I checked with our developers regarding your question. Unfortunately, the answer was that there are no plans for creating wrappers for the MVC controls in near future. As Pavel said, KendoUI is currently our main priority.
