Hi:

I recently added a forum post, but attached the wrong image.  How do I remove the image?

Hi Phil,

I suppose this is the forum post you are referring to. If you specify which image is wrong in it, I can remove it for you.

This should really be changed we should be allowed to edit our own post if made a mistake typo, or code error.

Not able to edit posts is very serious. I can guess why you'd not want the customer to change his post(s) especially if its a problem-customer. But 90% of the forum suffers from this. I hate replying to my posts to update stuff and seeking an admin to make amendments is just not Y2K compatible.

I know there is a 4-5 days delay between official reply from Admin to our questions. I'll be pretty upset if that delay has a part of Admin spending time amending posts.

Hello Shafi,

The request to enable end users to delete and edit their forum posts has been re-evaluated numerous times, and the final decision was to not to do so. The reasoning behind the decision is related to the fact that the forums are one of our main sources of feedback. Additionally, staff members monitor the forums and strive to answer all customer questions related to our products.

While we do understand that there are good reasons for letting people edit their posts, we want to have an accurate record of all of their feedback and be able to efficiently keep track of unanswered questions.

Regards,
Niki
