Hi John,
The table cells, which you are referring to, have a rgExpandCol CSS class. You will have to add or change the CSS styles for them manually, as the Visual Style Builder is not able to configure these cells. If you add new CSS rules, make sure you set a high-enough specifity, so that you override any existing CSS styles.
