I have used the deprecated reportviewer in web forms in the past and it has been great. When I tried to create my first HTML5 Web Forms Report Viewer I followed the instructions here http://www.telerik.com/help/reporting/webforms-report-viewer-controls-embedding.html using the  Telerik HTML5 Web Forms Report Viewer item template.

However there were some errors reported in the log when the page was created. See attached screen shot.

Error: No class implementing System.Web.HttpApplication is available
Error: Fail to register Global.asax routes.

I am not sure how to fix this.

Thanks.

Hello John,

Please open a support ticket and send us the generated log file and the project. Thus we can test locally its settings and investigate the problem.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi,

We are also getting same error. Please look into this urgently.

I want to buy Telerik Reporting. Please help me on this.

Error: No class implementing System.Web.HttpApplication is available
Error: Fail to register Global.asax routes. System.Exception: Can not resolve application start function. at Telerik.ReportViewer.Html5.Design.GlobalAsaxManager.EnhanceCodefile()

Thanks

Hello bipeen,

The HTML5 Web Forms Report Viewer item template can be added to Web Application projects only. If you are using a web site, adding the template will produce errors similar to those provided in your description of the issue. For web site projects use the Manual Setup approach.

Hello bipeen,

MVC 4 is supported. More information can be found in the System Requirements page.

If you still experience issues you can open a support ticket under your Trial account license and attach the project exhibiting this behavior.
