Drag & Drop ordering

Right now it seems that when drag & drop is turned on ( http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/treelist/index ), and I move a row, I can only change its parent. What if I want to change the order of items ONLY?

Hello Mate,

The drag and drop functionality is currently only available for moving the items between different parent nodes.

I can suggest voting for a similar feature request in our UserVoice portal, and based on its popularity we may implement it in a future release:
