Hi Samuel,
Unfortunately we wasn't able to reproduce the described problem.
What is the version of the Safari browser and the Silverlight plug-in you are using?
I tested it with Safari version: 5.0.2 (7533.18.5) and Silverlight plug-in version: 4.0.50524.0,
and it works properly.

Hello Samuel,
Thank you for this report. We confirm that with previous versions (major version 4) of Safari browser there is a problem with loading our examples for the HTMLPlaceholder. Anyway in latest version of the browser this problem is resolved and demos work properly. It seems that something (Silverlight related) is fixed/improved in the Safari browser itself in its latest version. Can I suggest you just to switch to the latest version of Safari?
Best wishes,
Vladislav

Sure, I can switch to the latest Safari browser.
But what about the users of the site?
As a web component vendor, you know how important it is do support all reasonably current broswer versions.
It's like saying we don't support IE6, IE7, etc..
It’s not such an old version of Safari. In fact, it is newer than both IE6 and 7.
Please advise.
Thanks

Hi Samuel,
You are absolutely right that we have to support all reasonably current browser version.
Due to your and some similar requests we have actually fixed our examples internally. Our official on-line demo will be re-uploaded and this fix will be included with our official SP2 release, which is expected next week (around 23.09.2010). Can you please try it once the new demos are available and let us know if you still experience any problem.
Kind regards,
