I am currently using the Docking control in an application. The problem I'm having occurs when things are put into tabs. The problem is when a tab is not being displayed its contents is unloaded. I realize this is probably by design but I was wondering if this was something that could be disabled. This causes problems because there are some things on the tabs that are still accessed when it is not being displayed. It also cause issues with MediaElements.

    Hi Kirk,

I answered you in the other thread you posted. As you correctly noticed this behavior is by design and it could be switched off by setting the IsContentPreserved property of the RadPaneGroup. For more information about this feature you could refer to this help article. As this feature had a bug in the official release I would suggest you to use the latest internal build. The fix will be officially released at the end of this month.
Please noticed that preserving the content will preserve it only between tab changes, but dragging a pane out will unload and reload the content. This behavior cannot be changed.

    Best wishes,

Has the IsContentPreserved been fixed yet in the official release? I haven't downloaded the latest build yet but I looked at the change log and didn't see anything about it.

    Hello Kirk,

The IsContentPreseved property should work as expected with the Q2 2011 SP1 (version 2011.2.0920). However, should you encounter any issues or you need more info please let us know.
