    Either edit your particular skin or do something like this on the page

    .RadDataPager_Sitefinity .rdpPageFirst,
        .RadDataPager_Sitefinity .rdpPagePrev,
         .RadDataPager_Sitefinity .rdpPageNext,
          .RadDataPager_Sitefinity .rdpPageLast
        {
          background-image:url(/images/SomeButtonORSprite.png);
        }

      .RadDataPager_Sitefinity .rdpPageFirst:hover
       {
        either a new image or
        background-position: for your sprite
        }

    only remove their sprite from the classes you want and handle hover for each class you change IMHO.  Replace 'Sitefinity' with skin of choice

    Regards
