I've downloaded the Reporting product as a trial version to experiment with the Report Designer. In my testing, I find that I have more and more data connections being created. How do I clean that list up by deleting unwanted or bogus data connections?

I've searched for any file under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\Reporting Q1 2013" that contains the list that shows up, but nothing shows up.

I've also googled for this topic, but nothing relevant shows up there.

Thanks,
Rick

ConnectionStrings are stored in the current application's config file(in the <connectionStrings> section). E.g.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\Reporting Q1 2013\Report Designer\Telerik.ReportDesigner.exe.config

I only see one data connection listed in that file, not the over 20 that show up in the dropdown when configuring a Data Connection...

Check in the user folder...E.g.
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Telerik\Telerik.ReportDesigner.SomethingHere\TelerikReportingVersion\user.config

It took me a while to find it, but for me it was in here:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Progress_Software_Corpora\Telerik.ReportDesigner.ex_StrongName_xvg2ahozm2u22wxtsw2egsvlddrzt5hj\14.1.20.618\User.config

My mistake.. the connectionstring is in there, but every time I open the app, it gets overwritten again with the old version!

And now it's working.. I set the file to read-only, which crashed the app, then set it to read/write again and now it seems to have picked up the change. I've no idea which part of that process worked, but something did.
