Crosstab row that ignores columns for each record.

I have a report with a Cross tab which has check Boxes for individual employees for each date. I would like to insert a single row which holds employee information beneath the columns which have the check Boxes, but which ignores those columns for each record.

For Example:

Employee   9/1/2014  9/2/2014 9/3/2014

john doe         X             O                X
                           EMPLOYEE ID 1

jane doe        O              X               X
                           EMPLOYEE ID 2

Is this possible?

Hi Tom,

Insert a new row Inside Group - Below in the Crosstab. Then add a CheckBox report item and configure its Value property, so it displays the correct information.
I did not understand which columns should be ignored and what do you mean by "ignored". Please elaborate further and give more information on the entire scenario if you need more help.
