I am curious if there is a possibility of converting content posted using Radeditor in a wss3 environment to the standard content editor web part. For instance in preperation for migration to foundation 2010. so that the site retains the posted content but leverages the out of box editor in the new environment.

Hi,

Could you, please, elaborate more on the issue? The content produced by RadEditor for SharePoint 2010 is a standard HTML content. Since the built-in Rich Text Content editor of SharePoint also works with HTML, I am not sure what exactly do you wish to accomplish.

Kind regards,

we have used telerik RAD Editor for MOSS web part just to give the title for the other list views which are added in a page. this has been added across many sites in a site collection.

we have migrated it to SP 2010 and it shows web part not found error as expected. situation is we dont want to use telerik controls in our 2010 environment but need to overcome the error as well. what i think was before migrating we change all telerik controls to Content editor web part so that no eror occurs.

is there any other gud solution for this issue which reduces manual process.

Hello,

Please, see the following help article: Migrating default rich-text editor Web Parts. It is the same way if you want to migrate from RadEditor webpart to rich-text webpart.
