Hi,

There is an issue introduced in Q1 2012 (SL5) release. Now ComboBox DropDown Slide direction is incorrect on first opening if ComboBox is placed at the bottom of the screen. It is expected that when DropDown opens on top of ComboBox slide direction should be from bottom to top but now on first opening diretion is from top to bottom. All further openings are correctly processed.
You can download sample demonstrating the problem here:

Hello,

We confirm that this is a bug in the ComboBox control. I have logged it in PITS. You can view it here and track its status when it is going to be fixed.

I see you moved from a Telerik popup to a Silverlight popup internally in the combobox. Is the Telerik popup going away?

Hi,

Yes, this is true - we removed it from the RadComboBox control and most probably we will remove it from our assemblies in one of our further releases.
