Choropleth Map Creation

In the web report designer there is no wizard for the creation of choropleth maps because of this I cannot use a .shp file to create a choropleth map as I would within the standalone desktop report designer. Is there a solution for this issue?

Hello Preston,

Currently, the Web Report Designer does not have dedicated wizards for the Map/Choropleth items. Such wizards are in our plans but have not yet been implemented, however, there is a feature request that you may follow for updates on the topic - Add Map Item Wizard to the Web Report Designer (telerik.com).

In the meantime, please use any of the other Report Designers to design the Choropleth/Map items - Report Designer Tools at a Glance - Telerik Reporting. Once designed, the Web Report Designer should be able to display those items at design and runtime.

Hi Leonard,

I cast a vote on your behalf for the public feature request to increase its priority and subscribe you for updates on the work item progress. The feature is not in our near future plans and I don't think you should expect it in the year 2024.
