Hi Kiran,

This error can occur whenever the size of the chart is very large. Can you share what is the size of your chart? If that is not the case, we would appreciate if you provide us with a runnable sample that exhibits the issue.

All the best,
Steve

hi Steve,

Yes the size of chart is huge we are limiting the chart size to 300 inch  max. the above issue appears often if we restart . I have attached a sample project which has similar kind of data i.e around 230 series . the above issue even reproduces when series is more the 50 in the  clients environment. it even shows "system out of memory " error in the report viewer.

Please suggest us the  guidelines  to improve the performance and memory management.

Thanks.

Kiran

Hi Kiran,

While the product was designed to be easily customizable and feature rich it does not cope well with extremely busy charts or rendering a lot of graphs on a single page. We are continually improving performance as we go but still the bottom line is that the chart item is targeted for casual situations which do not require a high performance solution. There is a trade off to make between high customization and performance and we've gone the rich features path as it is what most of our customers are interested in.

In short, you would not be able to render such a large chart with our chart item.

Kind regards,
Steve
