Hello All,

Is Telerik planning on completing the AutomationPeer implementations of these two controls?  The current implementation returns null for both control's OnCreateAutomationPeer() methods.

Are we talking .NET 4.0 and 3.5 or just 4.0?  My customer is using 3.5 in their product.

In addition, I understood the Telerik controls to be 508 compliant.  Was I mistaken?

Hello Rashad,

The TabControl AutomationPeers will be compatible for both .NET 4.0 and 3.5.

As for the 508 section compliance - the truth is that we have not performed  enough tests for W3C WCAG 2.0 AA compliance. Therefore, to provide a more certain answer we will need some time do investigate the matter. We will post an article about UI Automation support and then on a second iteration we will post another detailed article about W3C WCAG 2.0 AA compliance. I will follow up with you once the reuslts are public.

I hope that this reply is acceptable for you and you will be willing to wait for a more details coming soon.

Kind regards,

Kiril,

Your response is acceptable.  We understand how difficult it is meeting this standard.  Any support your team provides in the comming releases are greatly appreciated.
