Hi,
I have radtreemap that has a single parent_id.
At the moment it’s all renders in pretty much the same colour, (albeit slightly different tones)
Is there a way to force each item (square) to have a different colour?
Thanks.

Hi,
We're wanting to wrap the TreeMap control in our own client side object. We've done this successfully for the RadGrid and RadHtmlChart. We've got the TreeMap working great, but not we want to extend the functionality to handle the tooltips like in your demo... to do that we want to bind the onItemCreated event in javascript. Can someone provide the syntax for this? We've tried:
var test = map.get_kendoWidget();
test.bind("itemCreated", function (e, d, k) {
                alert('test');
});
but to no avail!

Any help appreciated.

Is there a way to reverse the order from largest-to-smallest TreeMapItems to smallest-to-largest TreeMapItems? Right now it always sorts the TreeMapItems with the largest relative size (value) to the upper left regardless of sorting algorithm. I've been asked if that can be reversed...

Is there a way to have the TreeMapItems auto resize on browser window resize? Currently if the user shrinks the browser window, it shrinks the RadTreeMap but not the TreeMapItems so they get covered up. And in reverse, it expands the size of the RadTreeMap but the TreeMapItems stay the same so it leaves a blank area to the right of the TreeMapItems.

Is there a way to fix this?

After learning about the TreeMap at your webinar, I've been doing a little bit of experimentation. The TreeMap might work well for displaying some aggregate information we want to display on a new website. However... it does not appear that the TreeMap has much in the way of navigation or events, or am I missing something?

The main part of the RadTreeMap has a NavigateUrl property. But the TreeMapItem controls do not appear to have any exposed click events or a NavigateUrl property. So how does Telerik expect one to do drill-through like clicking on the TreeMapItems to go to specific detail pages or trigger events?

I have experimented with several methods to do this but they are a bit of a kludge. So I'm curious how Telerik intended for this to work.
